Vintage Stoneprints offers some of the earliest designs by the artist Pamela Brown. The original hundred necklaces were sold under the name Sticks n Stones to recall a tribal homage to nomadic cultures. Contemporary Stoneprints has carried on that mantra with the addition of fine jewelry featuring highly faceted gems.

A modern take on the talisman necklace with one or several semi precious stones suspended on a wire with a sterling clasp. Colors will vary in earth tones as all are stones created in the Earth by forces of Nature.

Amulets are a critical component of all Stoneprints designs. I have collected on my travels for years but find that in the 21st century they are becoming increasingly scarce. Many amulets are surviving cultural antiquities traded centuries ago in a wonderful connection called the “silk trade route”. The historical influences on design were shared from West to East around the world and brought disparate populations together for trade. I am hoping to forge new horizons with Stoneprints that will make a global connection inspiring peaceful and educational interaction and conservation. The thesis for my Masters degree focused attention on women in the Third World who strive to keep ancient artistry alive in the modern world. I honor them with Stoneprints by only working with natural stones from the Earth as a fitting backdrop for these ancient man made cultural relics.

Ethnic Inspirations are unique one of a kind creations with historical references to Egyptian, Native American, European, Asian, Tibetan and African works of art. Complex numerical sequences unify numerous strands and patterns to pay homage to the ancient world.
